Station 5, formerly known as Harris, is the oldest station in the town and one of the oldest active stations in the State.  Built in 1889 as the Phenix Fire Station as a part of Warwick and then West Warwick, it became the Harris Station when the Harris village was founded and lastly became Central Coventry Station 5 in 2006.  Our most famous station due to is appearance on "TAPS" for it's haunted history.  It is also the only station in Coventry to have a traditional slide pole. The living areas are beautiful with the original cherry hardwood floors, 16 foot ceilings and huge windows.
